Declared one of the best alumni in 50 years, of G.S.V.M.Medical College, Kanpur, at the Golden Jubilee clebrations of the medical college held on 24.5.2007. Awarded for outstanding service to the society by being one of the pioneers in total arterial revascularization with beating heart surgery in the country..
 
Delivered a Guest Lecture at Austin Hospital and University of Melbourne, Australia, on 14.8.2001 on ‘Total arterial multivessel coronary bypass surgery on the beating heart’.
 
Awarded the Dr.Purshottam Singh Oration Award by Indian Medical Association, in 1995, for developing - Total Arterial Revascularisation in coronary bypass surgery.
 
Awarded the Dr.S.N.Mathur Oration Award by GEMS International, in December 2000, for developing beating heart surgery with total arterial revascularisation, in coronary bypass surgery.
 
Delivered a Guest Lecture on Beating Heart Surgery at the International Cardiology Conference organized by CSI Vidarbha Chapter in collaboration with Fairfax Hospital of USA, in February 2003, at Nagpur.
 
Faculty at the national conference of cardiac surgeons of India held in Mumbai in 2013. Gave lecture on preventing complication in beating heart bypass surgery.
 
Organised live international beating heart total arterial bypass surgery conference in Hyderabad in 2005 with prominent national and international faculty participation.
